Day 01: – COCHIN – MUNNAR (110 KM): – Welcome to ‘’ Gods Own Country ‘’ , On arrival at cochin check in at hotel. After check in proceed to Munnar. It is a majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Enroute visit Waterfalls like Valara Waterfall – Valara waterfall is in the middle of a non-exploited forest with a chilly downpour of clear water, Cheeyappara Waterfalls – Cheeyappara Waterfalls is even more magnificent than Valara and you can see water cascading down here over seven steps On arrival at Munnar check into hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Stay at Munnar.
DAY 02: MUNNAR: – After Breakfast proceed to Munnar Sightseeing, Munnar Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. Visit Eco Point – The peak offers a bird’s-eye view of the evergreen bamboo forests and teak trees, Muutupatty Dam – Beautiful Dam is located on the Muthirapuzha River, Kundala Lake, Tea Garden – The tea plantations and landscapes in Munnar offer a truly breathtaking experience., Hydel Park (Blossom Park) – Expanding throughout 16 acres, the Blossom Hydel Park is an exotic land piece featuring a wide array of fresh flowers, Pothamedu View Point – Offers some spectacular views of the tea, coffee and cardamom plantations. Stay at Munnar.
Day 03: – MUNNAR TO THEKKADY [110 Kms]: –. Proceed the journey to Thekkady drive through panoramic western ghat hills covered with spice plantations and occasional view of waterfalls and streams. In this journey you can visit spice plantations to buy spices like cardamom, vanilla, pepper, cinnamon, clove etc. On arrival at Thekkady check into hotel, later explore Periyar Lake and experience the mind-blowing view of calm crystal clear Periyar Lake and Sanctuary. Jungle Jeep Safari is another option here to explore periyar reserve. In the evening attend cultural show including Kathkali & Martial Art known as Kalaripayattu. – Overnight stay at Thekkady
DAY 04: – THEKKADY – VARAKALA- TRIVANDRUM (200 KM) :- After Breakfast proceed to Trivandrum – “With a history dating back over a thousand years, Thiruvananthapuram is steeped in legend and lore. The city’s name, which means “City of Lord Anantha”, En- route visit Jatayu’s Earth Centre – The Jatayu Earth’s Centre that hosts the world’s largest bird sculpture. Spanning over 65 acres across four hills. Later visit Varkala Beach – Flaunting one of the best cliff beaches in Kerala, Varkala is a lesser known yet absolutely paradisiacal destination that houses forts, pilgrimage sites, later proceed to Trivandrum. Overnight stay at Trivandrum.
DAY 05: – TRIVANDRUM SIGHTSEEING: – Morning breakfast at hotel proceed to Trivandrum on arrival proceed for city tour of Thiruvanthapurum visiting the ancient temple of Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple – renowned for its beauty and grandeur. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, it is one of the 108 sacred Vishnu temples or ‘Divya Deshams, later visit Napier Museum – Built in the 19th century, Kerala’s rich cultural heritage is on display at the museum Sri Chitra Art Gallery. Proceed to Poovar (35 KM) Unspoiled and unexplored, enveloped by the most serene backwaters, and opening out to the Arabian Sea and a dream golden sand beach, visit Poovar Backwater & Poovar Beach. In the Evening visit Koavalam Beach. Overnight stay at KOVALAM. (Temple Timings – Morning 8.30 AM-10.00 AM / 10.30 AM – 11.10 AM Evening 5.00 PM – 6.15 PM / 6.45 PM – 7.20 PM),
The dress code for the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala is as follows:
- Women: – Sarees, Mundum Neriyathum (set-mundu), skirt and blouse, or half-saree. Young girls under 12 can wear gowns
- Men: – Dhoti or mundu, and bare-chested. Men can also wear a scarf, towel, or Uparane, which is a men’s stole that covers the top bare body
DAY 06: – TRIVANDRUM – ALLEPPY (155 KM): – After breakfast proceed to Alleppy – Know as Venice of East, on arrival at Alleppy check in at houseboat, one of the best accommodations and ways to explore the Kerala backwaters Or You can stay at hotel & take boat ride to enjoy Backwaters of Wembnad Lake. Stay at Houseboat.
DAY 07: -ALLEPPY – COCHIN: – Proceed the journey to Cochin. On arrival Cochin city Sightseeing -Visit Chinese Fishing Net, colloquially known as Cheena Vala, Synagogue at Jew Street, Mattenchery Island, St. Francis Church– it is one of the oldest European churches in India, Fort Kochi – the first European township in India, Free time for shopping at M.G Road. stay at cochin. After breakfast proceed to Cochin Airport. Tour Ends with Happy Memories.
