DAY 01: IMPHAL AIRPORT– IMPHAL (2580 FT / 20 KMS / 40 MINUTES) On arrival at Imphal (IMF) meet & greet then transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Day at leisure for self-activity. Overnight stay at Imphal.
DAY 02: IMPHAL (SIGHTSEEING) Visit Japanese War Memorial (India Peace Centre) at Red Hills – It was built in memory of the Japanese soldiers who lost their lives during the Battle of Imphal (1944), one of the fiercest battles of World War II, Loktak Lake (90 kms/ 2 hrs)-the largest fresh water lake in North East India, INA Memorial – A war memorial dedicated to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and the Indian National Army. Evening back to Imphal. Ima Keithel (Mothers’ Market) – Asia’s largest all-women-run market, vibrant with handicrafts, textiles, spices, and traditional goods. Shree Govindajee Temple – A historic Vaishnavite temple dedicated to Lord Krishna Manipur State Museum – Showcasing tribal artifacts, costumes, ancient manuscripts, and the rich culture of Manipur. Overnight stay at Imphal.
DAY 03: IMPHAL – KOHIMA (4738 FT / 140 KMS / 04 HRS) After breakfast drive to Kohima. On arrival check into hotel. Later visit the famous war cemetery – Kohima War Cemetery – A beautifully maintained memorial by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, dedicated to soldiers who died in the Battle of Kohima,(If time permits). Overnight stay at Kohima.
DAY 04: KOHIMA After breakfast today we drive to Khonoma village (22kms/ 1 ½ hrs), a place renowned for its valour and courage. The Khonoma gate tells the story of British infiltration into Naga hills. Kisama Heritage Village – Venue of the famous Hornbill Festival, showcasing Naga culture, traditions, and tribal lifestyle. Nagaland State Museum – Displays traditional attire, tribal artifacts, weapons, and historical relics of the Naga tribes. Catholic Cathedral (Mary Help of Christians Cathedral) – One of the largest cathedrals in Northeast India with stunning architecture and serene surroundings. After lunch, visit Kohima village. Overnight stay at Kohima.
Day 05: Excursion to Dzükou Valley : Early morning drive to Viswema/Zakhama base point. Begin trek to Dzükou Valley (approx. 3–4 hrs depending on route). Explore the stunning valley, known for its rolling meadows, seasonal flowers, and natural caves. Trek back to base and return to Kohima. Overnight stay in Kohima.
DAY 06: KOHIMA – DIMAPUR AIRPORT (10 KMS / 30 MINUTES) After breakfast Check-out from hotel and take the departure transfers to Dimapur Airport (DMU) for your onward journey.
