Day 01: Indore Arrival: Arrive at Indore airport or railway station. Transfer to your hotel. Check in and relax. Begin your local sightseeing in Indore. Visit the magnificent Rajwada Palace, a blend of Maratha, Mughal, and French architecture. Explore the Kanch Mandir –a renowned Jain temple. Bada Ganpati – Ganesh idol measuring 25 feet from crown to foot. Lalbagh Palace – Lal Bagh Palace is class and grandeur personified. Annapurna Temple – Dedicated to Goddess Annapurna, the deity of food, Indulge in the famous street food of Indore. Head to Sarafa Bazaar (a jewellery market by day and a food paradise by night) or Chappan Dukan (56 shops) for a variety of local delicacies. Stay at Indore.
Day 02: Indore to Omkareshwar & Maheshwar: After breakfast, drive to Omkareshwar (78 KM/approx. 2-3 hours), a sacred island shaped like the “Om” symbol at the confluence of the Narmada and Kaveri rivers. Visit the famous Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple and the nearby Mamleshwar Temple, Drive to Maheshwar (60 KM, approx. 1.5 hours). Take a peaceful walk on the Narmada Ghats and witness the stunning view of the river and the fort, Stay at Maheshwar.
Day 3: Maheshwar & Mandu: After breakfast Explore the Maheshwar Fort and the temples within, including the famous Ahilya Bai Fort. drive to Mandu (approx. 1.5 hours) Check into your hotel and then visit the central group of monuments. Explore the vast Jami Masjid, and the tomb of Hoshang Shah. Stay at Mandu.
Day 04: Mandu Local and Ujjain: After breakfast Continue your exploration of Mandu. Visit the Jahaz Mahal (Ship Palace), which appears to be floating between two lakes. Also, see the Hindola Mahal (Swinging Palace), Roopmati Pavilion, and Baz Bahadur’s Palace. Drive to Ujjain (approx. 3-4 hours/ 150 KM), Upon arrival, check into your hotel. In the evening, visit the new Mahakal Lok Corridor and the famous. Stay at Ujjain.
Day 05: Ujjain Sightseeing: Early morning Attend the famous Bhasma Aarti at the Mahakaleshwar Temple (subject to availability and requiring prior booking) visit Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple. You can also visit the revered Kal Bhairav Temple back to hotel, Later proceed to visit other important sites like Harsiddhi Temple, Ram Ghat, and Sandipani Ashram, Gadkalika, Mangalnath Temple, Stay at Ujjain.
